Webflow Speed Optimization App isn't available yet
We're building it. This page is up early so you can see what we're making and get a heads-up the day it ships — no newsletter, just one email when it's ready.
What we're building
Webflow speed optimization usually means a checklist, a PageSpeed Insights tab, and a lot of guessing about which fix actually matters. This native app runs that audit inside the Designer. It scores each page against Core Web Vitals, then ranks issues by impact, starting with the usual Webflow culprits: oversized images, render-blocking third-party scripts, and slow-loading fonts. Images can be bulk converted to WebP or AVIF and set to lazy load in one pass, and scripts in site and page custom code are flagged with suggestions to defer or remove them. Score history shows whether a new embed or CMS template slowed the site down. The free plan covers audits on a single site; paid plans add bulk fixes, multiple sites, and ongoing monitoring.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Audits and fixes speed issues inside the Designer
- Ranks fixes by impact instead of handing you a flat checklist
- Bulk converts images to WebP or AVIF with lazy loading
Cons
- Cannot remove Webflow's own core scripts, which cap some mobile scores
- Third-party scripts still need a human call on what to cut
- Lab scores can differ from real-user Core Web Vitals data
